Go Steelers!!!!

We are certainly hoping that the Steelers win the Superbowl!!!!! The Agency had a Superbowl Party and we decided to participate. The kids LOVE having their faces painted, so I painted the Steelers Logo on their cheeks. Even Mark was cooperated! We did make it to the party...only after I got stuck on the lane and had to call for help! :)

Field Trips

p

One of the great things about homeschooling is that when a field-trip gets canceled, you just go on another one! Recently, we were supposed to travel to Uniontown to see"Seussical" but because of the COLD weather, it was canceled. Well, our entire family was disappointed. I, particularly, was looking forward to getting out so.... I called Aunt Jen and asked if we could visit her! The kids and I and our special friend, Hannah, drove to Pittsburgh. There we ( a total of 9 kids, one teenager and 2 adults!!!) went to the Museum of Natural History. We even toured the new Dinosaur Exhibit! We had a wonderful time, even with the extremely cold temperatures! And we still get to go to "Seussical" in April. :)

Mark...

Mark really likes food. So much so that all he wanted to do on Christmas morning was eat his "tandy!" We gave the children their stockings first and then presents. Mark really only wanted the food in his stocking and didn't care much about the other gifts. I guess you will have that with a 21 month old! And in the picture above, he is crying because he wanted to play in the snow and I wanted to take his picture. Jonathan and I convinced him that he would go out in the snow soon enough!
